Today we talked about the 東京電力（ＴＥＰＣＯ） RAT story.

...and made a nonsense story using  "rat" idioms...




One night Taro came home looking like a drowned rat because it was raining heavily and he had no umbrella.
He wasn't very happy with work so he was drinking during lunchtime!
But his boss smelt a rat because he always fell asleep at his desk.
Anyway, Taro wanted to get out of the rat race and do something different to working in an office.
Also his company was losing money and probably going to go bankrupt soon.  So a lot of people were quitting, like rats abandoning a sinking ship.

ある夜、太郎はずぶ濡れになって帰ってきた。
それはともかく彼はあまり幸せではなかった。
なので、彼はいつも会社で酒を飲んでいた。
彼はいつも居眠りばかりしているので、上司は彼を疑っていた。
彼は競争社会の中におり、そんな会社が嫌いだった。

また彼の会社はうまくいっておらず、赤字だった。
その為彼は沈みかかっている会社を辞めようと考えていた。
