This year, London celebrated the new year with fireworks. Because of Corona the fireworks have been cancelled the last couple of years, so it was exciting to watch it again on TV.

Usually a person has to pay for a ticket to be in Central London on New Year's Eve, so I would often watch the fireworks display from my bathroom window for free. After the fireworks, I would sing "Auld Lang Syne" with my friends.

2023年が素敵な始まりであるように祈っています。
今年、ロンドンは花火で新年をお祝いしました。
コロナによる影響で、数年間は花火は中止されていました。
テレビでまたロンドンの花火を見られるのはとても嬉しかったです。
通常はお金を払った人だけが、ロンドンの中心で大晦日を迎えます。
私は、自宅のお風呂の窓から花火を見ていました。
花火の後はいつも友だちと「オールドラングサイン」を歌っていました。
みなさんは、素敵なお休みを過ごされましたか？
カウントダウンに出かけたり、ジャンプしたりしましたか？
