Students often ask me about my favorite places in Los Angeles. With summer being here, I am reminded of one of my favorite beaches, Santa Monica. This popular L.A. beach has a pier with many shops, restaurants, fishing spots, and attractions. I especially enjoy Santa Monica at night, when the giant ferris wheel lights up and is reflected on the water. It's a nice place to go to eat, shop, or just walk around with a few friends. If you're in Los Angeles and want a fun place to visit, you should try Santa Monica.
