It’s been a difficult few years, especially for things that require traveling. But maybe we’ll be able to check a few things off our bucket list this year.

Living in Utsunomiya, I learned a thing or two about Nikko from our English students at MEC. I explored Nikko a bit, and went on a Chuzenji cruise a few months ago. And it reminded me of a city in Nepal called Pokhara.

If you ever find yourself in Nepal, you gotta visit Pokhara. It’s a famous destination for both domestic and international tourists in Nepal. You can trek or go on a helicopter tour to Annapurna base camp, go on a jeep drive to Sarangkot and paraglide down the hill, enjoy the reflection of Fishtail and other mountains on the Fewa lake as you boat on it, you name it. If you like waterfalls, caves, or gorges, Pokhara is your city.
