In Malaysia there's a saying that goes "Reading is the bridge to knowledge".
Today, we dedicated 5 minutes to read a book. The students asked me questions when they didn't know a word.
"Hey Mukmin, what does "mighty" mean?"
"Mighty means strong."
"Ouh thank you!"
Students are able to improve their vocabulary and I think they should try reading English books together with their families.
マレーシアで「読書は知識への橋」という名言があります。
今日のLet'sGOでは、みんなで5分間の読書タイムを設けました。わからない言葉があれば質問する子供達。
「ムクミン、「マイティ」ってどういう意味?」
「マイティは強いって意味だよ」
「なるほどありがとう!」
本を読むことでボキャブラリーも上がるでしょう。
