RIP Prince Philip

Prince Philip, the UK Queen Elizabeth’s husband has sadly passed away.

He was a great man. He made the challenging “Duke of Edinburgh’s Award” program for young people. I did that award when I was a teenager, and I met Prince Philip in 1995 when I got the gold award.

Years later I modelled our Let’s Go After School concept on the Duke of Edinburgh program, with our 4 different modules of skill, sport, help, and adventure. You can read about it here (link)

His inspiration continues.

Rest in Peace Prince Philip, and thank you for my childhood adventures.

安らかにお眠りください、フィリップ殿下

イギリスのエリザベス女王の夫であるフィリップ殿下が残念ながらお亡くなりになりました。

彼は素晴らしい方でした。フィリップ殿下は、若者向けの「デューク・オブ・エディンバラ・アワード」プログラムを創設しました。私は10代の時にこの賞を受賞し、1995年に金賞を受賞した際にフィリップ殿下にお会いしました。

数年後、私はLet’sGoアフタースクールのコンセプトをデューク・オブ・エディンバラプログラムを手本にして作りました。

Let'sGOでは　＜スキル・スポーツ・ヘルプ・アドベンチャー＞　という4つの異なるモジュールを用意しました。
